When you connect a system, Astell ingests and keeps content up to date so it's searchable and usable in context. The exact data available depends on what you connect and what permissions are granted.

How to think about integration coverage

Astell's integrations generally fall into four categories:

1. Communication
   Slack, Teams, DingTalk, Gmail, Outlook

2. Documents and file storage
   Notion, Google Drive + Docs/Sheets/Slides, OneDrive + SharePoint + Word/Excel/PowerPoint

3. Calendar and meetings
   Google Calendar (including Google Meet meeting context), Outlook Calendar

4. Engineering workflow
   GitHub

This helps you predict where your team's “source of truth” information will come from once Astell is connected.

What to connect first (practical recommendation)

If you want Astell to feel immediately useful, most teams start with:

• Slack or Teams (day-to-day decisions and context)
• Email (Gmail/Outlook) (external threads and approvals)
• Docs (Notion + Google/Microsoft docs) (reference material and written decisions)
• Calendar (Google/Outlook) (meeting context)
• GitHub (engineering workstreams)
