Hi there —
We're Lab24, and we're building the next generation of AI-native tools. Our first product is a context-aware project management agent that actually understands your work and helps get things done.
We care a lot about clean interfaces, fast systems, and making powerful tools feel intuitive. We're early stage, and we're assembling a team of builders who enjoy solving real problems and sweating the details.
What we're looking for
We're looking for someone who's excited to build across the stack—from front-end interfaces to backend logic and data systems. You don't need to be an expert in everything, but you should be eager to learn, ship quickly, and take ownership of meaningful parts of the product.
You'll work closely with our founders and early team to help us move fast and build things that last.
What you'll work on
- Building features across the stack using TypeScript, Next.js, Drizzle, and Hono
- Designing clean, responsive UIs that connect to fast, intelligent backends
- Working with Postgres, Redis, and vector databases to manage structured and contextual data
- Contributing to internal APIs, internal tools, and our design system
- Working with other engineers, designers, and ML teammates to bring intelligent workflows to life
You should be comfortable with
- Writing TypeScript across both frontend and backend
- Building with frameworks like Next.js and React
- Writing clean, maintainable backend logic and APIs
- Managing and querying relational databases like Postgres
- Using tools like Redis and (optionally) vector databases
- Communicating clearly in a remote, async-friendly environment
Bonus points for
- Experience working with real-time systems, queues, or caching
- Comfort with design systems and frontend performance
- Familiarity with data ingestion, ETL, or data lakes
- Exposure to AI workflows or LLMs (not required but helpful)
- Experience with React Native or Tauri
What we don't care about
We don't care if you have a CS degree, went to a bootcamp, or taught yourself on weekends. We care about how you think, how you build, and whether you're excited to shape a product and company early on.
How to apply
Please include:
- Your résumé
- A portfolio — GitHub, a personal site, or anything that gives us a sense of how you think and what you've built
We're building something ambitious with a small, thoughtful team. If you want to have a real impact and work on problems that are new, weird, and exciting—we'd love to hear from you.
